PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) emerged as the largest in local bodies (LB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa elections to be held on Saturday party. It’s Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), all about to form governments in two districts, followed by the JUI-F that claimed his third place in the polls.

Out of 969 district council seats and 969 seats in the tehsil council, the unofficial result of only 249 seats have been announced so far. Still they are prepared election results.

 

The PTI managed to grab 51 and 26 district council seats tehsil council, according to official results announced so far. The JI trail is about 49 and 34 district council seats tehsil council.

Candidates from Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) managed to reap 24 and 10 district council seats tehsil council.

 

Meanwhile, the Awami National Party (ANP) could claim 31 district council seats eight tehsil council.

In general, independent candidates emerged as a force to be reckoned with, as the 23 district council seats and 16 tehsil council have gone to them.

 

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) also secured their participation in the system of local organs of KPK with 14 district council seats eight seats tehsil council.

PML-N grabbed 52 district council seats. Two Pakistan Muslim League candidates won seats in the District Council of Chitral.

Muttahida Watan Party succeeded in getting a seat on the board of each district and tehsil council. PkMAP also pocketed a seat on the board of tehsil.
