ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain will address the joint session of both houses of parliament on Thursday (June 4).
The President’s speech to the joint session of Parliament will mark the advent of the third parliamentary year government
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
The presidential address to the joint parliamentary meeting on the arrival of a new parliamentary year is mandatory under Article 6 of the Constitution.
Meanwhile, the budget session of the National Assembly was convened on Friday (June 5) at 16:30. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar presented the budget for 2015-16.
The Senate hearing was also convened on Friday.
