PML-N lawmaker, son killed in Kamoke firingon June 1, 2015 at 6:11 am
GUJRANWALA: A lawmaker belonging to the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) was shot dead in the district of Gujranwala Punjab on Sunday night.
The attack took place in the city of Gujranwala Kamoke.
According to reports, the unidentified men ambushed the vehicle of MPA Rana Shamshad near his home, killing him and his son on the spot.
His nephew was rushed to hospital, where he died.
The attackers fled the scene after the attack.
The police arrived at the scene and began an investigation into the incident.
In a statement, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Sunday strongly condemned the shooting incident that took place in Kamoke, Gujranwala, killing Pakistan Muslim League-N MPA Shamshad Ahmad Chaudhry and his son.
According to a statement PM House, the prime minister asked the authorities concerned to thoroughly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
He prayed that God Almighty bless the souls of the dead to eternal happiness and give value to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
