Actress Konkona Sen Sharma travel industry has been simple, showing much of his tremendous acting skills in non-‘masala ‘movies, but she calls her “complicated”.
Attend a special initiative “Race Konnect: Power to Women” aimed at encouraging mothers working, Konkona said: “My journey has been a difficult so far year I did not know I wanted to do when I was in college.” .
“And acting was something I happened to wander into and subsequently did my world despite that it was my world, because my parents (mother and lead actress Aparna Sen).”
The event was held to spread a message among women to continue working after marriage and children and to encourage them to pursue their passions in choosing their profession.
Konkona was recently in the news for his Bengali film “Shajarur Kanta”, based on a novel Byomkesh Bakshi. His last Hindi movie “Ek Thi Daayan” had left two years ago and she will be next seen as a police officer in Sonakshi Sinha of “Akira”.
