Mastung incident: PM rings CM Balochistan as protesters disperseon May 30, 2015 at 10:05 am
Quetta: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif telephoned Chief Minister of Balochistan Abdul Malik Baloch on Saturday to discuss the deadly incident Mastung that left at least 22 dead,
PM asked Chief Minister to accelerate the operation against militants in the province and arrest the culprits involved in the brutal incident.
Both leaders discussed the convening of a conference of all parties-(APC) to review the law and order situation in the province.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister met with the families of the victims and assured them that an operation against terrorists is underway. He also promised compensation to the families. Negotiations between the families and the government collapsed after the police resorted to aerial bombardments and gunfire to disperse protesters.
