Director Ketan Mehta said he feels overwhelmed by the response to the trailer of his next adventure “Manjhi- Mountain Man” and plans to donate a portion of profits from the film Dashrath Manjhi village in Bihar. “Definitely a percentage of the proceeds will go to the village (Gehlaur),” he told the media persons at a special screening of “Drishyam”. The trailer was broadcast as soon as it was launched on social media and the dedication of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and purpose in the film were widely discussed. Both heavy and joyous scenes have found favor with viewers. “The response has been overwhelming. Nawaz is being liked immensely. The surprise film ‘Manjhi’, although it has been that young people have suddenly and surprisingly connected with the movie. People have gone and seen the promo on Youtube the response has been encouraging and enthusiastic, “Mehta said.
