After having a not so successful box office run with the latest version, ‘Action Jackson, actor Ajay Devgn returns with a mysterious thriller also this time starring the great talent of taboo and Telugu actress Shriya Saran.
Directed by Nishikant Kamat, ‘Drishyam’ is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same title.
Located in Goa, the film tells the story of a happy family man who runs his own business and live a simple life with his wife and two daughters. However, things take an ugly turn when I was involved in a murder case, which arises when the son of a determined policewoman played by Tabu disappears.
He said he will be on a modest budget, the trailer for ‘Drishyam’ gave us a glimpse of tender emotions beautifully woven with an underlying mystery.
In the film, Ajay Devgn plays Vijay Salgaonkar family man pitted against taboo, rehearsing the role of IG Meera Deshmukh, while Saran Srhiya plays the devoted wife of Ajay character.
