Actress Athiya Shetty is excited to start filming her second film, Mubarakan, but says she is nervous about working on the comedy genre for the first time. “I’m very excited (about the film), but I’m also a bit nervous because it’s a genre I’ve never played in. It’s the second movie and it’s the comedy so I’m a little nervous,” Athiya told IANS From Mumbai.
Mubarakan leads Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor together. The first look of the movie was revealed in a very traditional way with a wedding invitation asking everyone to join in. Arjun will be seen in the double role in the direction of Anees Bazmee. The film – also starring Ileana D’Cruz – is scheduled for screen success on July 28 next year.
The actress may be nervous about the genre but is eager to go in front of the camera and get into the band. “They’ve started their opening hours and they seem to be having a blast, so I’m really excited to join the band,” said Athiya, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2015 “Hero” film co-produced by Salman Khan.
She added, “I’m excited to be on the set more than anything else, to be in front of the camera. I feel happier when I’m in front of the camera.” Speaking of her role, the actress said: “I play the role of a Punjabi girl who is simple but adds fun, chaos and madness in ‘Mubarakan’. I think it’s going to be the wedding of the year and everyone is invited. ”
Suniel Shetty’s daughter has partnered with an NGO – Save the Children. Now, its fifth anniversary is celebrated at Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla, Mumbai on Saturday. And she says she’s been connected to the cause since childhood.
“The cause has been with me since I was born.It was formed by my nani and when she passed away she passed it to the mother.I have been associated with children since I was young.I used to visit the school almost every day because it was opposite From my school. “So I’ve spent a lot of time with these kids, I really know them personally. I’ve seen them pass their standard 10 exam and all that so it’s a very very close link, “he said.
